Program Faculty

Kris Anderson, P.E. - President, KG Anderson, Bath, ME.  Kris is president of KG Anderson, an engineering consulting firm specializing in whole building and building systems problem-solving, energy management certification, and indoor air quality.  Kris is a registered Professional Mechanical Engineer, and has broad experience as a mechanical, electrical and TAB contractor, a construction project manager, and a facilities and energy engineer.  Kris is an AEE Certified Energy Manager and a Certified Indoor Air Quality Professional.  He is a member of ASHRAE, AEE, ASME, and a former Board member of the Maine INdoor Air Quality Council.

Robert G. Baker - RGB Group, Ruskin, FL-  is President of the RGB GROUP which provides business advisory services on Heating Ventilation and Air-conditioning Systems (HVAC) maintenance and related indoor environmental issues to building owners, their staffs and the service and product suppliers who serve them.  He is immediate past President of the Indoor Air Quality Association and a member of the ASHRAE Standards Committee and several technical committees.  He has over 25 years of experience in all facets of building operation and maintenance.  In the RGB Group, he has assembled a team of Engineers and technical experts in all phases of indoor environmental quality.  They provide training, building operational support and technical reports on both maintenance and energy efficiency.  The group works throughout the Americas and recently has established an active practice in Asia, Based in Shanghai.

Tony Gill - Maine State Housing Authority, Augusta, Maine

Rick Karg - RJ Karg Associates, Topsham, ME.  Rick is president of R.J. Karg Associates, energy management consultants. He has been educating and consulting with low income weatherization programs, state energy offices, and electric and gas utilities for more twenty-five years. Rick is now spends part of his time as the senior technical consultant for the Maine Home Performance with ENERGY STAR Program and is a member of the ASHRAE 62.2 residential indoor air quality committee.

Robert Taisey - Assured Solar, North Yarmouth, ME.

Dan Thayer - Thayer Corporation Auburn, ME

 

William A. Turner, P.E. - President, Turner Building Science LLC.  Bill  is the president of Turner Building Science, LLC, and has 20 years’ experience in the development and implementation of indoor air quality standards, diagnostic testing and remediation, industrial hygiene instruments, survey administration, air monitoring data collection, quality assurance, data validation, and technical report preparation. Turner Building Science has assembled a training development team for this program that includes engineers, architects, energy consultants and home builders - all who have been working and building in Maine for over 25 years.
